The University of Montana Western would like to invite all prospective and incoming students and their families to Experience Montana Western, UMW's free fall preview day on Saturday, September 27th.
This exciting event will give prospective students the opportunity to tour the campus, learn about UMW’s courses and unique block schedule, speak with faculty, staff, and community members, and much more. As a bonus, all attendees will automatically be entered for a chance to win a $500 scholarship.

- 9:00 – 9:45 | Welcome & Introduction to Experience One (X1)
- Learn about Montana Western’s unique class schedule!
- 9:45 – 10:45 | Tour of Montana Western’s Campus
- Take a tour of our beautiful campus!
- 10:45 – 11:45 | Inside the Experience: Campus Life and Academics
- Attend a fair to hear about a variety of opportunities at UMW!
- 11:45 - 12:00 | Wrap Up and Prizes
- Includes a drawing for a $500 scholarship!
- Optional residence hall tours will be offered at noon before you go to lunch!
- 12:00 – 1:00 | Lunch
- Football tailgate or on your own in town!
- 1:00 | UMW Football Game*
- 7:00 | UMW College Rodeo*
- Beaverhead County Fairgrounds
*One free general admission ticket for the football game or rodeo event is available for students attending the preview day!
Individuals that are unable to attend the fall Experience Montana Western can schedule a campus tour for the opportunity to meet with an Admissions Representative and request to meet with professors or student support staff.
