This exciting event will give prospective students the opportunity to tour the campus, learn about UMW’s courses and unique block schedule, speak with faculty, staff, and community members, and much more. As a bonus, all attendees will automatically be entered for a chance to win a $500 scholarship and will also receive free admission into the UMW Women's Basketball game that evening.

  • Attend a fair to hear about academic opportunities from UMW professors!
• 12:00 – 1:30    |  Lunch
• 1:30 – 2:30      |  Experience One Forum
  • Q&A session with Montana Western’s current students, faculty, staff, and community members.
• 2:45 – 3:00      |  Admissions & Financial Aid Process Review / Wrap-Up
  • Hear a brief overview of admissions and financial aid processes and win some prizes. All attending students will be entered to win a $500 scholarship!
• 3:00                 |  Post Preview Day Events 
  • Join some of UMW’s residential staff for a tour of housing facilities
  • Tour our Natural Horsemanship Center (requires you to drive about 2 miles)
  • Join us for a tour of our brand new football stadium 
  • Watch our Women's Basketball Team take on Mayville State at 5:30 p.m. Free Admission for students attending the preview day!

Individuals that are unable to attend fall Experience Montana Western can join us for our spring preview day on March 21, 2025, or schedule a campus tour for the opportunity to meet with an Admissions Representative and request to meet with professors or student support staff.
